With an expressive talent for both popular and classical music, pianist and composer Daniel Grajew was born in São Paulo, Brazil. He graduated in classical piano at University of São Paulo (USP), and plays with resourcefulness the classical repertoire as well as choro, tango and jazz genres. Grajew toured over France, Portugal and played in varied projects such as: Music for Silent Movies (Cinemateca), Piano +1 (SESC Santos), 4º Na Mira, Cantoras do Brasil (Canal Brasil), II Encontro de Piano Popular (Casa do Núcleo) and Tudo Azul Tour with Carlos Malta. The awards include I Concurso Jovens Solistas da USP (2009), XI Concurso Villa Lobos (2009) and a winner of Edital Proac for album recording (2011). Daniel has accompanied varied artists, groups and orchestras such as: Escualo Ensemble, Orquestra Bachianas, Orquestra de Câmara da USP, Carlos Malta, Kathryn Green, Tiganá Santana, Luiz Brasil, Blubell, Leonardo Jeszensky, Alexandre Silvério, Lucas Santana, Emilio Martins, Camille Bertauld, Zizi Possi, among others. In 2013 he release his first trio album called Manga and in 2016 launches Bailado, a duo with bassist Marcos Paiva. In 2017 releases the album Novos Ares with the group Escualo Ensemble and in 2018 works with Zizi Possi in the shows À Flor da Pele e Ins-pirações.
